Nonna Rosa's will always be a family favorite for us. Always plenty of parking out back, and a friendly staff. The side porch is great during the summer to enjoy those sunny days and evenings. The menu has a lot of wonderful options that should appeal to everyone. The well stocked bar inside has lots of choices... So, if you are looking for a nice bottle of wine or a relaxing cocktail, they should have you covered. When we first started going to Nonna Rosa's the prices seemed just a tad high UNTIL you see they give a generous portion and how good it all tastes.

Not sure where these one star ratings come from??? We made our first visit this week. I had been wanting to try this place for months. As other have said, this is a small, quaint place where the chef is literally 15’ away preparing all the food. We ordered drinks (both lemon and orange ‘cello) as well as an app, main dishes and dessert. All the food was very well prepared, hot and timely. By timely I mean not “fast” essentially, but timed appropriately. Drinks were delivered quickly with app shortly after. About the time we were ready for salads, they arrived. Dinner was not rushed like a chain restaurant. Entrees were right in time, giving you time to appreciate the food and actually enjoy a meal. If you are looking for a burn and turn type Italian go to Olive Garden. Food was very well prepared. My wife is a NY Italian and this meal did not disappoint. House made cannoli was also a treat, as was the gelato. Long story short, go here for a nice dinner, a dinner you want to spend some time with your company where the food is great and the setting is small and intimate. Plan to spend a few hours. Have an espresso...

This little gem of an Italian restaurant is as authentic as you will find anywhere in the Twin Cities. Their chefs are actually Italian and they know what they're doing. In addition to the basics, they have a selection of delightful seafood dishes, evening dinner specials, and a fantastic wine menu. The small, quaint dining room is perfect for a romantic dinner or larger groups.

Date night disaster. We recently moved to Robbinsdale and finally had some time to explore some local establishments. We love supporting small business. We ventured into Nonna Rosa's hoping to find a new local gem. What we found was one of the worst meals we've ever encountered. The environment was not welcoming and the food was not edible. We left $60 later with full plates of food still on the table. When an Italian restaurant serves beer cheese soup you should probably leave. Of course the soup was served lukewarm as well. We will never return to Nonna's and we hope no one else wastes an evening or there money on this place. Great location horrible establishment.
