Nonno Pino's
"Nonno Pino's is voted one of the best Italian restaurant on the Northwest Side. We offer options to dine-in, to-go, delivery, catering and private parties. We welcome you to visit us for dinner or stop by our bar for a drink by our open windows. Nonno Pino's offers something for everyone. The atmosphere is relaxed and dressed-down; black-and-white family photos decorate the walls, and service is friendly. House specialties include pistachio-crusted chicken and grilled calamari in garlic broth with chopped Roma tomatoes and grilled green onions. You also must try the Pino Puffs. Nonno's has a large bar with European style windows that open in the warm weather. The bar offers happy hour specials and stays open after the dinner hours."

One of my favorite restaurants, their food & service has always been excellent along with reasonable prices. On our most recent visit, my shrimp dish wasn’t up to par. However, when I mentioned this to our lovely waitress, they went out of their way to make up for it. She brought me fresh shrimp, properly prepared, along with a complimentary dessert & a $15 gift certificate for a future visit! I thought this really epitomized awesome customer service & can’t wait to go back.
The service here is top notch!! We are visiting and came upon this restaurant by chance. We didn't realize the gem we happened upon. Bread was wonderful and when we finished they offered us more! I had the special and it was the most unique pasta dish ever, the short rib ravioli! The customer service was fantastic and the server was very good! I highly recommend this restaurant
A gem. Delicious, quality food and this is the opinion of California "foodies" who often visit Italy. Super nice service, and great neighborhood vibe. Also love the old school architecture.Food: 5/5
I had the salmon ,the food was good , simple in a good way and at a good price! The portions were big and the bread was good.Food: 5/5
My family has been coming here from Downers Grove a few times a year. We used to live in the area and we miss it so much. I especially love all of their thoughtful events. It wouldn’t be Christmas without Santa at Nonno Pino’s. Great food, staff, and atmosphere.Food: 5/5
What a cute little place. Superb service and excellent food. We loved the Pino puffs, beet salad, and blackened salmon. It's what I call a classic Chicago "red sauce" place. You can't find food like this in GA. CASUAL ITALIAN We feature recipes passed down through generations of family. Our culinary influences hail from the southern regions of Italy, bursting with bright, bold flavors Parking: Free parking lot, weekdays only.
We had a birthday party for a family member. 25 enjoyed fabulous prefixe menu. Everything was exceptional. Not one criticism for the service, atmosphere, nor food. A fabulous time was had by all. Thanks Mike & staff for going above and beyond! Dietary restrictions: There was GF option that was great.
Just recently had dinner here and the food was absolutely horrible. The sauce taste like it came out of a can. The baked clams were burnt, dry and way to breaded. The portions are huge I’m not going to lie but the taste just wasn’t there I’m sorry.Food: 1/5
I wanted to update my five star review review from two years ago and again give this wonderful restaurant five stars!. We have been to Nonno Pinos dozens and dozens of times over the past two years. During this pandemic we have done our best to support this wonderful and high quality locally-owned Independent Business in the heart of Edison Park. We ordered the "family of five" meal deal and our food was fantastic! #ShopLocal From 2018: Nonno Pino is an anchor to the wonderful downtown Edison Park Entertainment District. We were there on a Friday for a birthday celebration and our food was excellent and well prepared. David our server was charming, inviting, funny, and made our visit to this restaurant unforgettable. The drinks were excellent, our crab cakes and calabrese's salad more perfect and our entrees were served hot and fresh.
First time eating here and I’m so glad I tried this place. Wonderful atmosphere, very friendly staff and delicious food. Generous portions. Will definitely be back.
