This place is inside the Grand Supermarket in West Broad Street. You have plenty of selection of Korean food and as always is very delicious. You placed your order and choose where you’ll seat and once the food is ready they’ll call you and after you finished eating you put you’re plates in the cart. They also have a variety of delicious pastries.
Took a little while to actually find this place. So if your going it's located inside The New Grand Mart, basically the international grocery store. You have to be really paying attention to see their signage. So with being said once you enter, there seating area is o the right side. Looks like the old deli area. They have number of tables set up. At the counter they have lots of pictures of their dishes. You give your order at the counter and then when ready they'll call you up. The food is absolutely delicious! We ordered a few different items, but came to try their Korean Fried Chicken. It comes almost like a chicken lollipop in a sweet sauce. Also got some bulgogi...Yum!, dumplings and some shrimp fried rice. Everything was fantastic! Doesn't take very long to get, comes nice and hot. Then which is pretty cool is to just walk around the store afterwards. Check out the fruit-vegetables area. You can see some pretty cool looking things you might have never seen before. It's a great place to eat.
Overpriced, and they are ‘out’ of many things. Truly, probably because the non-Korean staff just can’t make them. How can this even be? The restaurant is LITERALLY inside of an Asian supermarket!!! We spent $50 on 3 meals and no appetizers - with no banchan included! I have a distinct feeling that this one of two locations is run nothing like the other one.
This little eatery is located in the food mart and is definitely worth checking out. There is not only a board of options of traditional Korean dishes, but bakery offerings in front of the counter as well. The staff is friendly and service is quick.
I get take out quite often from Noodles and Friends. Usually getting the kimchi jjigae and jjajang myun. The portions are quite large, maybe about 2 servings each. Service is quite fast too, I’ll call in an order and the time they give is pretty accurate, about 15-20 minFood: 5/5
I ordered . The price has been almost doubled since the reopening and the quality sucked. There were about 5 pieces of meat and instead of using or they used fresh Cabbage. It was very disappointing. The soup tasted like instant Ramen soup. Won't ordering from there anymore. Parking: They need to fix the parking lot where the carts stay. The wind moved the whole thing so it occupies 1 and half car space.
Whenever we shop at Grand Mart and are feeling hungry, we’ll stop by Noodles and Friends the in-store Korean restaurant to grab a bite. The food is visually appealing and physically satisfying! The last time we dined here, we ordered Omurice and a sweet/sour pork dish that I can’t remember the name of and both were incredibly delicious!
Always great experience here. Not your usual restaurant location. Its inside the Korean supermarket. It is self served. The food is always great and you actually can see them cooking your order. I think it has a lot of value especially for lunch break. One advice from me especially in the spring or summer when we all mostly wear short sleeves, the place is vey well cooled so you might feel little bit chilly here. You want probably take with you some long sleeve hoodie or sweatshirt. Other than this i would come here again.
Visited here for lunch with my father; I got bulgogi, he got the spicy pork 40 and 41 on the menu, respectively. The bulgogi was delicious, the beef was tender and very slightly sweet, the pork was very tender and just spicy enough. The young lady who helped us at the counter was very polite and the food was served promptly. Strongly recommend getting a bite to eat here the next time you pass through!
Richmond really lacks a good Korean food scene and to be honest if you’re looking for quick service or takeout Korean this is the best place to in the area Kid-friendliness: high chairs, laid back
