TL;DR: Shitty disrespectful employee blames you when stuff randomly breaks that you aren't even near, tries to overcharge you because of this. I'm a young adult, college aged, who used to be a regular customer at Noons. I would walk in, sometimes late at night, and buy a large diet soda with their soda fountain, and maybe a bag of sunflower seeds or something of the sort. Their prices sucked, their food sucked, but they were convenient. Tonight I went with a friend, and the employee gave me a nasty look when we walked in, so I made a "What?" look at him and walked past. We grabbed these chips that were on sale and went to grab our sodas. In the middle of pouring our sodas some machine in the background starts making this repeated hissing sound, tss tss tss tss over and over. I look over where I hear it coming from and the employee looks over at me like he's pissed off. I give him another "What?" look and continue pouring my drink. He goes into the back room where the noise is coming from and comes out when I'm putting the lid on, and says quite angrily "You broke it!" then starts back for the register, the sound still going on. I said "Did he just blame us?" and my friend said, "nah, he said "it's broken". So we go to check out and I'm getting more angry glares from the guy. He then tries to charge us over 3x the cost of the bags of chips, and I go, "wait, what? Was that an accident?" and the guy just sits there for a second, before saying "Yeah". So we pause again. Okay, whatever, I go and put the chips back. He rings up our drinks and everything comes out to the expected cost, so I pay and start to leave. As we leave, a woman comes in and quickly grabs something and asks what that sound is, still tss tss tssing in the background. He says something about a CO2 something breaking, and then says "those guys broke it" gesturing towards us. So, I was right about him yelling "you broke it" at us angrily. He randomly decided to blame us for something breaking, that we weren't even near, then tries to overcharge us to get back at us? No, not buying from there again, and I don't recommend you do either.
