Fresh food, big portions & service with a smile...come experience Noon Spoon Cafe!

Story

Noon Spoon Cafe owner Jennifer Cayce earned a nutrition science degree in 1998 and shortly thereafter opened her first restaurant. It was simply called, Noon Spoon and was a delivery only business...and business was good! She sold it in 2001 after someone made her an offer she could not refuse in commercial property management. After several years in that career she decided to return to her true passion and recreated her original restaurant. She named it the Noon Spoon Cafe and we've been open for business since July 2008. Fresh food, big portions & service with a smile...come experience Noon Spoon Cafe!

I stopped for lunch. Really good, too. I simply asked the wait staff to bring me whatever they thought was good, and I was impressed. Nice ambience and friendly people. Good vibe. I plan on going back next time I'm in Marble Falls.

Sometimes the things about a place that keeps you coming back are it's people. The food at Noon Spoon Cafe is always great, every time, what a Marble Falls jewel. But for me, it's Renee's staff, particularly those wonderful gals that take such good care of us. Here's to Anna for being the rockin'-est waitress this side of the Highland Lakes. About four weeks ago I had misplaced... well, let's just say it was a lot of cash, couldn't figure out where I'd put it. (oh dear!) Having lunch at 'Spoon the other day and here comes Anna who remembered me, kept my cash safe and dutifully returned it to its absent-minded owner. So impressed! What integrity! Renews your faith in people, she made my day, and brought a big smile to everybody I told! But ya know, I'm kinda feeling like they are all like Anna at the 'Spoon! Great team! Hugs to All!

Unfortunately i haven't eaten at Noon Spoon Cafe. We scheduled a visit to the Spicewood area to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary two weeks ago. I saw the good reviews and decided to drive out of the way to enjoy a delicious lunch with my wife as we celebrate. We pulled up Sunday 7/16 afternoon only to realize they were closed. The service days on the door did NOT match google maps. This could be an oversight, but a bummer nonetheless. Thanks for nothing!

I don't hate this place. However several things were wrong with my first experience here. The other two members food was very good. However one of them didn't want the side that came with it and asked if it could be changed for a soup of the day. That seemed to be fine we were explained there would be an up charge. That was fine as well. There wasn't an up charge for changing items. It was he didn't get the side that came with his food and then payed for the 6.00 soup of the day in its entirety. The other member had no problems. Except she had to keep asking for her mac n cheese (delicious by the way) even after eating her dinner. Not that bad of things to happen I understand. I changed my entire order when I learned they had soup of the day tomato basil. I love tomato basil soup. However their soup was pretty bad. I tried a spoon full the other members called me picky (Which I am about my food) so they tried a spoonful and agreed it was bad. When I explain to my waitress that I will not be paying for the soup(still full) she says ok. And adjusts the price. Comes back and explains to me that she comped my my soda (1.75). Now here was my problem. Combo plate #1 comes with. Half a sandwich (full sandwich was 8.50) Chips and salsa (salsa was great homemade. Chips were from Sams club) And a cup of soup (4.00) So to sum this up for 11.00 and tax I payed for half of a sandwich and a few chips with a small plastic container of salsa. The owner tried to explain to me that 2.25 was a fair compensation for a 4.00 soup I didn't eat. 8.00 and tax would be fair for half a sandwich and chips and salsa. I hate to be petty over 1.75 but it to me is the principle of business and owning you and your employees mistakes. Point to be taken here. Do not change menu items do not get chips and salsa as well as the tomato basil soup.
