Well-marked and well-maintained. The signage, especially, is better than the John Muir trails down the road. There are a lot of unmarked trails on that one. My wife and I hiked the 9 mile blue loop. It took right around 3 hours. It was a very good workout. 3 mph average over this hilly terrain is a good clip. Non-WI residents should bring $11 to pay for parking. WI residents only need $8 for the day. There are annual rates, which pay for themselves if you'll come at least 4 times in a year. Bring bug spray.

Great place to take walks-groomed trails, most people you meet are friendly. Just watch for the bugs in summer (deer flies/mosquitoes) or be prepared to outrun them. Different vistas (prairie to pine woods to regular woods). Benches for resting. Bathroom/water fountain.

Great hiking and cross country ski trails. We also use the parking lot as a meeting place for road riding  (bikes).
