So I love their dry cleaning! They do great with alterations! However when I did drop off for the regular laundry service the clothes got returned rather wrinkled.

Very bad quality for the price that was paid. Gentleman at the counter was no help didnt listen to any problems. Pants were ripped all the way from the top to about half way down in the back where its suppose to be most supporte in the back at the top. Happened  2 hours before the wedding. Was uncomfortable the whole time. The man did compensate me with $10. I was upset then he asked what else do I want wanted. I responded that they needed better service and its not right to treat customers that pay that much money for a tux and only rent it. Would give this place no star rating if that was an option.

Words cannot express how thankful I am! To subtly say, RJ saved my wedding day. Days before the wedding, we found our wedding party without tuxedos. Not only was Norman’s able to provide exactly what we hoped for, but they exceeded all expectations with their level of customer care. This is family owned business and it shows. They are fantastic – much my like my father’s tuxedo the night of the wedding. He truly was so handsome. Thank you!!

I've lived in Tinley park for over 41 years.  My wife is going to stand up soon in a wedding. She had some simple hemming and was promised a total of $12. She understood that this may be a little low but it was a very simple job. Upon giving her brother $20 to go pick up the dress they charged her $92. When her brother gave them the original receipt it was clearly marked then they could use an entirely different color pen and Hand wrote the new total. That was clearly unprofessional to be kind. They didn't even explain to her brother that there was this mistake on the original quote. So her brother had a come back home and get money to go back to get her wedding dress.

First off, if she knew it was that expensive she wouldn't have dropped it off at Normans. However, that's not the case in this situation. Being a business that's been open so long especially when you have so much competition around you. You basically have three options. One, either bite the bullet and charge only the quoted price. Two, you profusely apologize for the mixup in the fact that you did not receive a phone call for their mistake and you offer minimum only be 10 to 20% off discount still giving them a room to make a profit. Or three, you offer reasonably free or discounts on work to be done using and established figure of times.

If not, considering Normans is a small place, and the  competition they have now you lose a customer. It doesn't take a person with an NBA just a simple kid with the paper route to realize the long-term effects of this action. One customer spends $250 a month. That's $3000 a year in annual income while competing with multiple dry
cleaners in the area. I know business expert by any means, but to me I would think that would make it least marginally 1 to 2 monthly lease payments a year. If anything, clearly would pay for The minimum wage persons salary that just lost you $3000 for two months. 

This might be a highlight for the next all employees training meeting.

My groomsmen and I rented our tuxedo's from Norman's and had a great experience! Rick and his team were professional, knowledgeable and a huge help finding a design/color that matched our wedding theme.  They have great prices too. I highly recommend Normans for your rental and tailoring needs!
