Great trail for novice hikers!

This park is a little gem tucked away outside Ashland. Fairly close to the city of Richmond that makes an easy visit. The walking trails are well paved  and easy for novice hikers. There are two Trails gray which is just over two miles long and blue which is four and a half miles long. The trails are easily marked and have stops along the way to educate you on the battlefield. Highly recommended for short afternoon trip.

Update: I've been to this park twice with my dog and it is infested with ticks if you go out there please make sure your dog is protected and you're protected as well.

Great light to medium hiking trails. Not crowded but not empty either.
