The VIC and Gallery represents a huge step toward downtown revitalization and growing community pride through volunteer efforts. The VIC is not just a place to find the information, it is the venue for small boutique events and local artists to show their art works within the Mountain View Art Gallery and Plaza. The modern Northwestern style center is operated by the North Bend Downtown Foundation. Most noteworthy is the “high tech” approach for tourists to access information. The new VIC offers two 24-inch touch screen computers available to visitors to use and search. A 42-inch monitor is suspended from the ceiling, scrolling through professional photography of images of North Bend and our tourist destinations.
