We ate at Northbranch twice years ago when it first opened. Food was very good but service back then was slow. We gave it another try tonight and the service was excellent. While our server was taking the order of a large group next to us (who was there before us), the manager (I believe he was the manager--front of the house/host?) came and took our order to help out--we didn't even say a word and were fine waiting if we had to!  I had the fish tacos and hubby had the steak tacos.  Everything was great--also loved the black bean side! At the end, our server mentioned that the owner also owns Joe Donut, and would we like some free donuts?  We sure would!  He gave us four giant gourmet donuts to take home with us. So, I really wanted to come give North Branch a great review because everyone seemed invested in the restaurant and deserve to be recognized.

Nice informal place for a reasonably priced meal. They are always busy. Food is good. Pizza is great. Good selection of beer at the bar as well.

Had to wait longer than expected for table. Staff more than made up for it. Excellent service, free appetizer while waiting, bottle of wine on the house, free donuts for the kids, attentive staff towards my children, and excellent food. Great menu with a lot of options. Large portions. Fish tacos, short rib pita, spaghetti and meatballs were all excellent. Overall a great experience, will definitely come back, and highly recommended.

The service was great and I like the decor. The food is about average. I ordered the potstickers and the patty melt with sweet potato fries. The potstickers were actually great! I love how they were fried, and the ginger dipping sauce that was provided was delicious. I ordered my burger medium, but it came out closer to rare. I didn't end up finishing it because of this, I probably should have asked for them to cook it longer. I'm sure they would have. My partner also ordered a burger, but was pleased with his. All in all, I would say that the food is reasonable, and reasonably priced. I would go again and try some of their other menu items, but this place won't become a favorite.

Great cheese curds, but my medium rare burger was a bit overcooked.  The french fries were good, soft in middle, not overly salty, good portion.  Football was on, but all tvs had same game.  My partner said said nothing else was on, but...hmmmmm, not sure.  The bartender was very friendly and good.  The bathrooms were the warmest ever, nice and cozy on a cold cold day.
