The Canton engineering department is the most negligent and inept group of people on the planet. I have called numerous times to complain about roads and I basically I am transferred to some voice mail that is never checked or hung up on by some rude woman. All I am looking for are answers as to why North Canton has some of the worst roads in Stark County. It seems as though the most heavily travelled roads have been neglected with no type of repair work in sight. Everhard is a total mess and has been for years with no repair ins sight. I guess 200 foot patch jobs are supposed to pacify everyone, but they really don't cut it boys. Easthill and 55th is deplorable with again, no repair work in sight. Then lets move north a little to Glenwood and East Maple, these roads are beyond ridiculous and once again nothing being done. I'm sick and tired of my vehicle being trashed on North Canton roads. Maybe the engineers all drive beaters and don't care about their cars, but I care about mine. It's time that the people of North Canton start filing lawsuits against the city for damage incurred to their vehicles. All you have to do is claim negligence and this should be very easy to do since the department is totally negligent. Maybe this will get someone's attention, but I doubt it. I think the engineering department should all take a ride over to Jackson and see how excellent their roads are, again, this should get someone's attention, but I doubt it will. This department should be ashamed of it's performance. North Canton residents should be extremely angered by the people running this department since they could care less about working for it's residents. We are already into the month of July and their is absolutely no repair work being done anywhere. 200 foot patch jobs on Everhard and patched potholes everywhere else don't cut it. How bad does a road have to get before these clowns do something about it?
