I like their low cost shots days, but you've got to get there before it opens to beat the crowd.

They've been great with all my pets. They don't talk prices and options, you have to be the one to ask or you'll eat the bill at the end.

Dr. Sunada is amazing and pretty accurate with her diagnosis. She explained and answered all my questions. I've been coming to this clinic since 2006... Thank you Dr. Sunada and her staff! Luie's mom

This place was referred to me by a friend so I thought it would be great. I walked up to the reception desk to check in and ask a question and the receptionist never looked up from her work when she answered my question. I had to ask her to repeat herself. After waiting over 35 minutes for a vaccine, and there were only 4 people waiting for vaccines, it was finally my turn. I should have left though when I heard dog after dog yelping in pain, but I didn't. When I carried my dog into the exam room, the first thing I noticed was the dirty exam table. I hope there wasn't some really sick and contagious dog on it. So now for the vaccine. This young guy, who looked like he was just out of high school, was waiting to give my baby his shot. Now this is usually a pretty simple process (needle in, plunger depressed, needle out). In 10 years of taking my dog to get his vaccines it has never taken more than 2 or 3 seconds to get his shot. But this time his vaccine took about 5 or 6 seconds. Which doesn't seem very long but it was only 1 shot. And at the end of the 6 second shot my dog yelped in pain! He has never done that before. And the vey tech guy acted as if it was nothing, no apologies, no " it's ok boy " nothing! They all seem very heartless and apathetic. And there prices are not that low. I paid $14. 00 for a DA2PLCV yearly booster. But I can go to Balboa Park off of Victory Blvd between Balboa and White Oak Ave every Sunday from 3pm to 5pm and get vaccines for $12.50 each. No appointment necessary. I will NEVER GO BACK TO North Hollywood Animal Care Center! I don't think they even like animals.

My cat had an emergency I went in at 1 and asked if they could see her (they had no patients), the receptionist who was busy talking to her friend turned around and with an attitude answered no the doctors leaving at 3. They offered no help, or should any concern. I had been taking my dog to them but no longer, I have found a better vet who truly takes pride in his work and cares about animals.
