Our family is fortunate to be part of this amazing school! The principal and teachers work hard to create a learning environment that stimulates critical thinking skills while providing experiences that can be applied to the real world. The opportunities offered at STEM are endless and available to all students who are willing to work hard. Yes, good behavior is expected, and behaviors that disrupt the learning environment are not tolerated. Students graduating from this school will have the necessary skills to be highly successful in today's world. I would highly recommend this school to any student who is interested in getting the most out of their education. I cannot think of ANY negatives to attending this school.

I though that stem charter would be a great opportunity for my son over the public school system. Boy was I wrong. We enrolled him in kindergarten there and he went until the 2nd grade where they started disciplining him for petty things. They singled him out and made a mockery of him. They would not let us as parents know about this until a parent teacher conference. As parents we asked for their help in resolving this problem from home with a simple  report of his daily actions. We were met with an email referring to there policy's and a request for another parent teacher conference. They are only there to make themselves look like a class A school. To keep the money coming in. They do not care about any student in particular. They want to weed out only the best students to make them look good. They do not want to have to teach each and every kid. They are sometimes limited to a 10 min lunch break and are not allowed to play and burn off some energy at recess. The only extra class they offer is music. There dress code is a joke and if it is cold out they can only wear a certain jacket which could change from day to day. I feel bad for putting my son through this place. Please read more of the reviews especially those from other students that have attended this school. And disregard those written by either a staff member or from the investor's.

I have attended this school since the opening in 2012, and I am PROUD to say I am in the first graduating class! I have been offered so many great opportunities at this school over the years such as starting the student government, being a part of National Honor Society, robotics, being on a team launching a satellite with NASA, and so much more! When I was in eighth grade I was able to take high school courses, which allowed me to take college classes while in high school. I will be graduating with my associates from North Idaho College at the same time I graduate from STEM Charter. The staff is very supportive of ALL students. The administrators have always taken a vested interest in what the high schoolers are doing, and have done everything they could to make sure we have the best education possible. I am very sad that this is my last year here, but I can proudly say I am graduating from the BEST high school in Idaho. I would recommend this school to anyone looking to make the most out of their high school experience, willing to work hard, and be prepared for the future.

I think this school was horrible. I learned absolute nothing, accept in History. the only reason to go to this school is if you want a good history teacher. They said we would have special opportunities, but whenever students did good, the staff would take control to make them selfs look good. They had retarded rules, like no running on the bark chips or playground. They would actually penalize students for playing and having fun at recess. They would hand out pink slips for anything they could. i once asked a fellow classmate for help in english and i got a pink slip for "cheating". Overall it is not a good school, especially if you have a kid who wants to have fun and friends.

This school is a prison I wish there was negative stars cause then I could rate them -10 stars. Whether they have good stats or not stats are like bikinis 👙 they show some of it but not all of it truly consider sending your child here he will be treated with zero respect and will be expected to work like a robot also there is no time to eat your lunch
