Tasty dishes, good service and a great place to go with family and friends. We were brought here by relatives and it was a nice surprise. Dishes used a good amount of pine nuts which is great if you like them like I do. Easy access at Del Amo.
My wife and I go to the El Segundo branch a lot so was looking forward to this opening closer. Definitely not disappointed : All the usual favorites and I tried their breakfast short rib hash, delicious! We also got to try a pumpkin cake ? a la mode? Also good but would have been better if the cake itself was warm. Will be regulars here!
We like the one in Manhattan Beach and exited about the new location. First time try the brunch menu. The breakfast Pizza was great. Hope the espresso machine works next time.Food: 5/5
The food was good, and the server Tim was excellent. Their branzino and bolognese sauce are so delicious. Their mixed drinks and desserts are fantastic as well.Food: 5/5
I tried the other North Italia places and loved the Irvine and Segundo area. However the chicken pesto here was not very good: pasta is overcooked, the sauce is watery, and the chicken is dry. I hope its just a one time thing. But it was not a pleasant experience today.

We were pleasantly surprised with high quality Italian food, sommelier service, high vaulted ceiling,Tuscan style columns and marbled decor. We will definitely come back
Beautiful decor! Very friendly, attentive, professional staff. Newly opened at Del Amo mall where the old BRIOS was. Right on Hawthorne Blvd, in the same lot as Barnes and Noble. Parking can be a pain especially if you go on a weekend so I recommend parking in the indoor parking lot that’s behind the mall and cut through the mall. Plus you can go shopping afterwards in the beautiful Del Amo Mall! We have dined in twice and both times left very full and happy! The inside dining is not only gorgeous, but really awesome to be able to see the chefs making the fresh pasta right there. But hands down I love sitting outside on the patio area. I am so excited they opened up here!
As of me writing this, they've only been open for 2 days. That being said, they've got amazing potential. The kitchen was a bit chaotic and the staff was a little turned around, but that's to be expected at this point in opening. The food itself was delicious though! My meatball sandwich was amazing, and the signature drinks were delicious. Also, our waiter Michael S was awesome! I say all this because if you go now, please be kind and patient. It'll be worth it! I'm excited to go back and try more.
EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED with the takeout experience. Would not recommend at all. We ordered 2 family pasta kits at 5:30. It said that the order would be ready for pickup at 6:30. I arrived at the restaurant at 6:30 and the rep at the takeout desk said that they're still working on our order and it should take another 10-15 minutes. We did not receive our food until 45 MINUTES LATER. I get it that the restaurant is busy, but it doesn't hurt to try and be more accurate with your wait times so me and my family aren't waiting around indefinitely. Then when we finally get home, we saw that the pasta in the pasta kit was NOT COOKED. Again, that's fine, but AT LEAST add that detail to the description of the item on the website because we were hoping to start eating as soon as we got home, hence the point of takeout. We also wanted to avoid doing dishes, but of course we had to cook all the food so so much for that. We ended up eating after 8 pm. The chicken was dry, the pesto sauce lacked pesto flavor, none of the lettuce in the salad was cut, and we only got 1 pesto sauce when we got 2 of everything else. Despite all the negative in this review, would recommend the tiramisu. We generally love North Italia and their other locations, but this location has proven to be disappointing.
