This was a nice enough campground in the park (TBH I like the park so much I'd stay at any of the campgrounds). There were toilets and sinks, there was even a few outlets in the bathroom people used to charge their phones. Our site was open, flat, with a good sized fire ring and picnic table that was ADA compliant. I think technically lights out (including fires) was at 9 but we stayed up past 10 with a pretty good fire going, as long as you're quiet and respectable the camp host leaves you alone. Bears are in the park and hosts and rangers will stop by to educate you on that, especially if you have food out. There is a bear box at each site. There are a few RV spots as well, but the site wasn't noisy from generators. Curry village (or half dome village, due to the lawsuit) is just a short walk away, and they have all your basic amenities there. Overall, I'd say this campground is a solid choice if you're going to visit the park. I enjoyed the time I spent here!

We loved camping at North Pines. I booked site 134 which is on the edge of the camp - closer to the base of some massive cliffs. It was an amazing spot with a close proximity the bathrooms but we felt as though this spot was more secluded than some of the other spots in the North Pines campground. Behind our camp spot there were some woods and horse trails and we even had some riders come through our camp site during our stay which was cute. Note - we stayed in early September and I had to book this spot at 7:00am on the dot 6 months before. At the same time I tried to reserve another camp site in North Pines and everything was reserved within a minute of reservations opening up. .So plan in advance!

Typical campground next to the river. Wish they had showers for the site and water faucets at the individual camp spaces.

this is my favorite of the 3 valley floor campgrounds. the sites are generally big and the outskirts offer privacy to an extent. nice to be right on the convergence of tenaya creek and the merced

Some sites have direct views of Yosemite Falls, easy walk to then entrance of the campground to see Half Dome lit up at sunset. Bathrooms, sinks, no showers. Sites only fit 2 cars for the most part and you're definitely close to your neighbor. Campfire smoke can get a little overwhelming in the morning if it's cold.
