I went in to create a flyer for a fun neighborhood get together. They only had four computers available all of which were occupied. I asked nicely if I could use one of the computers in the kids area which all were open (I'm obviously an adult), she said no. 

She let me use a laptop which I exchanged my ID for since she looked at me as if I was going to run out of the library with a $150 laptop. After making the flyer (which had color), I printed two copies. They both went to printer in the back behind the front desk instead of the main printer. She went and got the two copies which came back black and white. Disappointed, she said that the printer only prints in black and white. She told me I could save it and email to myself then get on the other computers (which still were occupied), and print from the main copy machine that prints in color. 

I figured I could come back at another time. As I turned my laptop back in the librarian gave me a death stare as if I just stole her favorite Harry Potter novel. She said smugly, "You still have to pay for the two copies you made." It was 30 cents. Yes, 30 cents. I asked her politely why I should have to pay for the two copies when it was clearly her fault for not giving me the disclaimer that the printer only printed in black and white. Her response was beyond rude as she said, "We still have to pay for the paper in here." Still not understanding that she was the one at fault, I paid her the ridiculous amount of 30 cents that this library clearly needs. 

I thought all librarians were so sweet and helpful, clearly I needed a rude awakening when this librabrian turned into a completely rude and arrogant person when 30 cents was on the line.

This was my first visit at the library. I was at the place around 2:45pm on Thursday , Aug 17. Since I sit in the open space , it was a bit noisy with all the kids chatting. There was street parking around the library ( one hour parking ). I did not asked the librarians about quieter areas so not sure if there was any.
