I called the evening before to verify the vehicle we were interested in was still available. I wasn't sure I got the correct place because the guy answered the phone as though I had called his home number. I clarified that I had called North Suburban auto sales and verified the car was still available. Drove and hour and half the following day to see the car. We took a test drive and liked the car. We signed a purchase agreement and gave them a down payment. We started the financial transaction with our bank. North Suburban auto sales does not keep the titles to the vehicles on the premise. Our bank required this information, so the sales guy, Chris, said we would have to wait a day or so for them to get it. We drove the hour and half back home, only to be called by the same sales guy and told that someone had written the wrong price on the car (too low) and that he was not going to sell it for that price. I then had to put a stop payment on my check used for the deposit. This company is very unprofessional.

If you know what you are looking at and are willing to put in the work to check things out on your own this is an ok place to buy cars. But they are quick to lie about even the most obvious issues with cars. All they want us to sell a car and make the most money they can out of it.

I was able to test drive and take the vehicle to a mechanic and ended up  purchasing the vehicle.  I knew going in that a few things needed to be fixed. Requested to get price reduced, but there was no negotiation at all - still the vehicle was very well priced.  Customer Service and visual condition of vehicle were great.  I would purchase again.

Bought a car from this place for a decent price. Thing that bugs me a little is the guy we worked with pocketed some of the cash, I'd say at least $350 that he pocketed. I would highly recommend getting a mechanic to go with you to look at any car at any dealership. Even high end dealerships aren't going to tell you all the cons to their car, they just want to make the sale. It's a used car shop, so don't expect the cars to be in tip top condition. They will negotiate, so do your research before you buy their cars. Dont over pay for something that you'll have to fix a month or two into the purchase.
