The park is very comfortable place to go and take the family for a cook out  and its clean and the people you will see there are friendly I lived there for over 40 years

There's a lot of thing's to do they just built a new shelter house I believe its mainly for the farmers market! But is open for cookouts and what have you! There are several baseball diamonds, basketball court, kids playground, horseshoe pits, and an RC CAR track too not to mention a small skateboarding area! Ive lived in North Vernon for almost 23 years and have seen many improvements to the city park!
