I have suffered for the last 4 years with lower back pain, no doubt exacerbated by walking the 2000 + miles of the Appalachian Trail. A close friend, who is a Marathon runner, recommended Lorrie Sherwood at North Woodward Rehab to address my issues. His experience with Lorrie, and the Foundation Training she teaches, was spectacular. I was skeptical when I attended my first session. I was constantly in pain and walked like a frozen robot. In an hour and a half, I left North Woodward with about a 70% improvement in my back, and a sincere appreciation for Ms. Sherwood's capability. I have continued with the training and have improved with each session. This is much different than a visit to the doctors office and a prescription to mask the pain. It takes work and dedication, but Foundation Training is very effective in attacking the cause of your back pain. I highly recommend Ms. Sherwood, and the Foundation Training she utilizes.

I thought physical therapy was a waste of time and money until I came here. I was in tears during my initial evaluation. The therapist thought that she had hurt me. I said, no, you just seem to know more then all of the doctors that I have been to. This therapist has helped me through so many difficult times. She has worked with my doctors to help me with all different problems. My doctors send their patients to North Woodward now because they have seen the results in me and many other patients.
