The Northeast Iowa Regional Board of Realtors has a rich history. Formed over 100 years ago to "bring unification of real estate interests" as stated in "Progress Toward Professionalism" a book written by Valentina Martin, a former President of the association.
The boards of Waterloo, Iowa and Cedar Falls merged in 1966 to become known as the Waterloo-Cedar Falls Board of Realtors. The association represents professionals active in all segments of the real estate industry. The Waterloo-Cedar Falls Board of Realtors is a leader in issues involving the real estate industry and preserving property rights.
Waterloo-Cedar Falls Board of Realtors is a member of the Iowa Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors. The term "REALTOR" is a registered collective membership mark identifying a real estate professional who is a member of the National Association of Realtors and subscribes to its strict Code of Ethics.
