Mission

Northeast Jewish Center of Yonkers is dedicated to providing a friendly, welcoming Jewish community and environment, to all members of the Jewish faith in and around the area.

Our goal is to offer its "family" the opportunity and the ability to worship G-d in our sanctuary, to observe life-cycle events, to learn more about our heritage, to educate our children, and to practice the tenets of our faith.

This past June I was going through a very difficult time in my life. A friend suggested I contact the rabbi of NE Jewish Center for some counseling. I called several times and left messages that I needed help. No one called me back. BUT, I get letters requesting donations of money on a regular basis. I will contact this place and ask to be taken off the mailing list.
