This place is clean quiet and peaceful I love it here u can have a fire BBQ. And owners are great IV been coming here for over thirty's years and they are been up dated

Great cozy rustic retreat in the woods. Great place to get away and just relax. Donna is super friendly and very helpful and makes sure all the rooms are nice and clean. I use to stay here at the least a couple times a year before I moved away from Michigan. Visited here before winter hit and the view of the night sky really made me miss the many nights spent around the fire pit. Just a hop and a skip from the Au Sable river. Best place to stay in Mio if you ever want to get away from the city,

we stay here pretty much every year for our annual canoe /tube trip ,as others have said Donna is very accommodating .very well kept rustic setting love the fire pit and outside setting/grilling area

We stay here every year..the owner Donna is wonderful, the rooms are inexpensive and great for what we use it for...we have friends in a cabin nearby and basically use it for sleeping and showering. I will stay here every summer as long as we can get in...:)
