Story

NVSTM is certified to operate by the State Council of Higher Education for Virginia (SCHEV) and natioanlly accreditted by NACCAS. We prepare students to become certified massage therapists through an integrative approach to science, massage and bodywork. Students will gain a strong foundation in anatomy, physiology, and massage techniques to prepare them in the field of massage therapy. Graduates of the Northern Virginia School of Therapeutic Massage will be thoroughly prepared to sit for the Massage & Bodywork LIcensing Examination (Mblex) and job placement assistance is provided upon completion of the program.

I attended this school not really knowing what to expect... my experience... I wouldn't change for the world! I had the most amazing teacher (Tara) and the best classmates anyone could ask for. My only advice is that if u need something or don't understand it, don't be afraid to talk to admin. It'll work out better in the end when you have full understanding. But If massage is really in your heart to do, this school will get you there:)

I attended this school in September 2013 and graduated in March 2014. I wish i would have researched a few more schools before I made my decision. my financial aid process was not easy, I feel as though I came out of pocket more than I should've. I could not attend my graduation because Mike (the president of the school)  asked for important paperwork two days before which was very short noticed. After I graduated I did not hear from this school until January of 2015 because they needed me to help them out so they could keep their financial aid. However my teacher was great and I learned a lot. I like the hands on and the clinics (working with the public). Other than that I have nothing positive to say about my experience. I will find another school to take my continuing education courses.

Many people recommended this school to me. Beautiful new location and great staff. They've been around a long time and really know what they are doing. Will be attending this program! Highly recommend it.

Amazing family run school. I recommend it to anyone wanting to become a massage therapist! Brand new facility too! The teachers really care about their students, so welcoming.

I graduated from this school in Dec. 2012 and Honestly it is to this day one of the best investments of my life!
The quality of education is superb 👌 , All the teachers are experienced in the massage/ healthcare industry from various backgrounds, class sizes are small and training is very personable.You feel more like  a member of one big supportive family, rather than feeling like  'just another student'
I was able to pursue my massage career with confidence in my knowledge & training  from NVSTM, and even though  I graduted over 3yrs ago im still able to call the staff and owner of the school (Mike) for guidance and support. Simply an amazing school with an amaing group of people that truly care about u and your sucess💜
