One star is too high of a rating. Saw Dr. Robert W. Tanney who knew nothing about my condition and offered advice that was both inaccurate as well as detrimental to my health. During our 5 minutes meeting I taught him more about my condition than he could teach me, this is an incredibly common ailment that with 3 million cases per year. Asked multiple questions to which the response was "uhhh I don't know." Asked to see another doctor who was more knowledgeable and management's response was a printout of webMD along with telling me I can pay my copay again again in order to speak to a different doctor but that's all they will do.

If I could, I would give 0 star for my last doctor visit experience. I called them on Monday for open schedule, I was told I could walk in anytime before they close at 6:30pm. Since I have couple meetings in the afternoon, I end up heading to Northshore Medical Group Buffalo Grove around 5:45pm. I don't feel serious and don't expect it will take long. Actually it don't take long as all, Dr. Urgo took care of me and told me back home to take a break. If the pain on my belly doesn't go away in next week, I can come back to check. All process is no more than 20 mins. Later, I don't feel pain on my belly and totally forgot this experience until I receive the billing which charge my $350. Apparently, it's noted that this was a emergency medicine visit!!! I thought it must be something wrong and call customer service, the lady told they are not going to change the billing and it's what it is. She told me this is what should be charged for doctor time. The worst experience I ever have. If they should have told me it might be cheaper if I made appointment in advance, I definitely will do that. Awful experience and I don't want to go there any more.

I'm new in the area so after learning that northshore was a good place for a check up for my mom she was experiencing swelling on her face and numbness on her arms everytime she lay down and I made an appointment with them and they told me Dr. Chan was the best so of course I made the appointment with her and when we got there this doctor made us wait almost an hour and when she got in the room she just sat behind the computer and and type she didn't check on my mom she just asked family medical history and every question I had her response were "I don't know" or "it's gonna cost you more" and on top of that she was making fun of my mother saying she is too old my mom is only 50 years old! I got so fed up and walked out oh mind you I was paying out of pocket and now she is asking me to pay her more for the service I mean what service?!

It was my first visit at this location. The receptionists were very friendly and directed me on which side to sit. I saw Dr. Palondikar, he was on time, very kind, thorough and addressed all concerns I had. I would definitely recommend this office. I plan to continue to see him as my family practitioner for myself and family.

My girlfriend had symptoms of a fever, diarrhea, throwing up, night sweats, along with having a serious interaction with a prescribed anxiety medication. Dr. Tammey I believe was the doctor and he was INCREDIBLY rude saying that she didn't look that sick and should be fine after a 5 minute exam.... Well guess what, after resting and drinking fluids she wasn't fine and ended up having to go the ERthe next day. And they told us that we should've gone yesterday because she was that sick. STAY AWAY!!!!
