Dr. Donna Grant, Dr. Maureen Winslow, Dr. Elizabeth Fleck, and our staff, would like to welcome you to Norwalk Family Dentistry. We have been providing excellent family dental care in Norwalk for more than fifteen years.

Our mission is to provide the ultimate dental experience for our patients by offering a clean, pleasant atmosphere, treating our patients and co-workers with the utmost respect and providing superior dental care. We will accomplish this while being honest, caring, trustworthy, and with a smile.

Our specialties include general and esthetic dentistry, a superior hygiene clinic, pediatric care, oral surgery and emergency care. We utilize advanced technology and state-of-the-art equipment.

Our office participates with numerous programs such as Give Kids A Smile, Donated Dental Program, Sealant Program and Mission of Mercy.

This is honestly the first bad review I have ever written online and it really bothers me to finally have come across billing like this.

The building and hygienists at this location are great.  The doctors are also nice and I have been going here for years for basic cleanings.  But when I went in to have my one filling worked on I ran into a major issue with their billing.  I have been tight on money lately because we had our first child and I expected to choose the silver material to have some touch up done on a filling to save money.  But the hygienist told me it might look way better with the enamel material and the price wasn't very different.  So I met with their billing office and gave them my insurance card.  They gave me an estimate on the enamel material that was only $20 more than the silver material.  I asked if she made that estimate based on my insurance and she said yes.  So I went with the enamel material, but when I got my bill the total was OVER DOUBLE what they had estimated.  I called my insurance multiple times and had to call the billing office 3 times to finally get a solid answer on what happened.  In the end the woman on the phone basically told me it was my fault for trusting their estimate too much and that estimates are just estimates (the enamel material apparently costs around 80% more than the silver material in all actuality).  If I wanted to be sure of the bill I apparently should have stopped my appointment and walked out that day and submitted a pre-auth to insurance and waited for the response days later.  

Be warned that you shouldn't trust any billing estimate from Norwalk Family Dentistry  before a procedure.

Made my appointment in AM,due to cancellations I was in at 1:10 PM. Best cleaning I have ever had! Hygenist and Dr. Winslow were very competent and courteous. Just moved to area would recommend this dentist group to anyone!

Had my semi annual tooth cleaning. Impressed as usual with the caring and competent staff. I drive 5 hours to keep this group as my dental providers... ie I really, really like them.

Though going to the dentist is far from the most pleasant experience in the world, the gals at Norwalk Family Dentistry are awesome! I always get a good laugh while I'm there and I think their dental care is top-notch! Great stuff!
