I found the cemetery wonderful. My husband, Norm and I drove up main road on a hot September day . As I was getting out of the pickup, I'll never find the grave because the stones were flat to the ground. Norm called out "I've found it!" . I couldn't believe it. I walked over and there it was. Thomas J.J. Gibbs . And then I looked in the next row, closer to main road and there was my grandmother's stone. Thomas' also had 1864-1955 and Darkes Jane Gibbs had 1884-1980. The view was wonderful because they had lived way off in hills that is now timber land and cattle ranches. I was so happy to be there.
A beautiful little country cemetery with an odd name. The view across the fertile valley is inspiring like heaven on earth and gives hope for life. I was told that my great grandfather Rev. T.B. MacDonald once owned the farm there. He and a few other generations of MacDonald's are buried here.
A depressing cemetary. Because of distance I only visit once a year. Grass is dead and always needs to be mowed. Dead grass and weeds over part of headstone so no weed eating done. Headstones sinking in and askew. Last time the water was not on for cleaning up headstone. Truly a sad place.
