Love the bread. The food was all very good but the prices are a bit crazy. Almost $10 for a bowl of chowder? I really wanted to try it but I couldn't bring myself to pay $6 for just a cup of soup... I thought I remembered it as affordable but not anymore. This is now a pay day only  restaurant.

Despite this being a small chain, it is unlike the others. Food has a gourmet flair and is consistently excellent, offering a wide variety and good portion sizes. The menu changes with lots of seasonal additions too. They have a full bar, several micro-brews available and a decent wine list to offer lots of great pairings for whichever dish suits your fancy. The atmosphere and decor provides a trendy and upscale feel and the wait staff are always friendly and attentive. I suggest making a reservation or calling ahead, as they get very busy during peak times. In warmer weather outdoor dining is available as well. Not Your Average Joe's is most definitely above average and definitely one of our go-to favorite spots.

Great place to eat or take out. The menu is unique and interesting. Nothing is “average” and that’s by design. The staff at this location has always been friendly with me and I appreciate that. They tend to be a little slow overall though. Not terrible but not speedy. Took over 30 minutes for a burger and bowl of soup at lunchtime the other day. And the place was pretty empty. However, if your out for a leisurely meal and like quality food with a twist, this NYAJ’s is a very good choice.

For health reasons I really do my best to eat organic/ wild caught/grass fed. So I asked google where I could find a restaurant that served organic food. Not Your Average Joes came up. 
When I asked the host she looked at me as if I was asking the most difficult question she had ever heard. She went and asked the chef and came back with a reply stating that their salads and veggie burgers are organic. All I can say is that I hope so. I did end up getting their beet kale and goat cheese salad. It was pretty good. I don't think I will go there again based on the fact I can't be sure. I just prefer to go to a restaurant where I can be absolutely sure of what I am eating and my question about organic doesn't seem absurd. So I will stick to Whole Foods or find a market/grocery store for an organic piece of fruit. If anyone reading this post knows any restaurant that do sell organic foods I would appreciate the info....thank you

Perfect marinated steak tips! Dessert was amazing. Service was very good, work a friendly waitress. Can't wait to go back!
