While I haven't received services from Ben or any other therapists here, I can tell that they have a genuine interest in the physical as well as emotional well-being of their patients.

I have been a patient at Novacare (formerly Keystone) Rehabilitation for four separate occasions: I received rehab for a sprained ankle, pre-surgery left shoulder, and post rotator cuff surgeries on both the left and right shoulders. Having been a patient at this facility over the course of a few years has given me some insight of differences in management and patient care. When I first arrived at Keystone, the staff were courteous, but there was a definite feeling of distance between me as a patient and the physical therapist. This is not a negative review of the general atmosphere, but more a description of a traditional business model. My primary reason for returning was due to the proximity to my home. Since Ben started managing the Glenshaw office, the atmosphere has changed dramatically for the better. When I first met Ben, what stood out most to me was his obvious passion for and his extensive knowledge of his chosen line of work. There are people who go to work to get a paycheck and people who truly care and have a passion for what they do. I felt that the atmosphere prior to Ben was more like the former than the latter. Now, from the moment I walk into the door, I feel like I am among friends. The rapport among the staff is relaxed, friendly, and professional; and that has had an effect on the patients there. Patients talk to each other, and the atmosphere is more like we are among friends, which, I believe, is mostly due to encouraging and maintaining a sense of humor. Furthermore, Ben, Dustin, and Daylin all work together like a well-oiled machine. It is impressive watching them work the room, helping each other out, and giving each patient personalized care. Each of them give you a sense that they are there because they love what they do. It is obvious that this is not just a job to them, but a passion to which they have dedicated their lives.They enjoy what they are doing and that makes it so pleasant to go to Novacare in Glenshaw. I can say, without reservation, that I look forward to going to physical therapy and fully trust that I am getting the highest quality care there.
