Decrease wait times. We had to wait an hour to even be called back to see the doctor and we had an appointment. This has happen several times. The doctor I see is great but the long wait times makes me want to switch providers.

On Labor Day I took a spill on my bicycle and hurt my knee and leg. I'm so glad the Urgent Care was available. The P.A., Mary, stitched my knee and checked me for other injuries. The nurse, Vicky, was pleasant and efficient. Both were very compassionate and caring and made me feel like I was in good hands. Thank you for your care and service.

Dr. kingsly is great! She is my one year old sons doctor and also mine. She is always on top of things and takes her time with us. So happy I found her !!
And the nurses,front staff are so helpful,caring & kind.

This has been such a better option than going to the ER...  the Dr.'s & nurses on staff are so great! My daughter needed staples put in her scalp from a rough-housing evening accident, they did it quickly... and also told me that they can stitch, staple & glue! Very good to know... I always thought you needed to go for the ER for those things. So happy we went there & will be back for all other non-life threatening (after hours) issues! :)

I recently moved to Lake Norman and needed to find new family doctor. I had been going to Matthews Family Physicians (Novant) for over 20 years and felt that I would be safe to continue with another Novant facility. Unfortunately, I have had two bad experiences at the Lakeside location. My first visit I waited 1 1/2 hours before I was seen by the Doctor. My appointment was to ONLY get a refill of medicine. My second experience involved the Doctor not accommodating or helping me in a time of need. I have ADHD (diagnosed for 10 +years). I was given 3 paper prescriptions. My last prescription I lost/misplaced. I physically went to the office to get a replacement prescription 3 days prior to leaving on a week long business trip (knowing how important it would be for me to have my medication). I was told that the Dr. was on vacation and that NO one could help me to give me a duplicate of a prescription that I was already prescribed. I followed up 4 times via phone calls with no return call. I finally received a message saying that the Dr. REFUSED to give me a duplicate of the prescription that he had already prescribed unless I came into the office (my guess is that wanted to get another copay from me). I am now in another state until Monday without necessary medication. I called back to the office to get clarification as to why the Dr. refused my request and I of course haven't gotten a return phone call. Very disappointing to say the least. Very bad communication, organization, etc.
