I'm all about small businesses and who doesn't love books and tea!  But my biggest problem was the fact that I came into town from Texas to visit my boyfriend who was so excited to take me to this place,  knowing it be right up my alley, he drove an HOUR to get there and low and behold....the place was CLOSED!  Mind you it was a Sunday at 1pm....they claim on there store door open Sundays 11-4, online AND on their store voicemail, because I DID call thinking maybe there was a reason they weren't open. I understand sometimes small businesses must close,  for maybe personal reasons,  or other things but at LEAST let people know,  put a sign up telling us your sorry for the inconvenience! That's just good business sense, it would make me come back and try again but now I wouldn't, nor would I tell people to waste their time. I'm really sad that I didn't get to check this place out and had this experience.

I found Novel Tea Book Store by happenstance one day while walking around downtown. It was fabulous from the minute I walked in the door. The employees were very friendly and helpful, and I was impressed by the tea selection. At 50% off the cover price, I paid more for the books than I'm used to paying at thrift stores, but all the books were in good (or better) condition. These books are not thrift store castaways! I will definitely be shopping here again... (and again and again!)
