Wife and I stayed for the month of August and found the park to be very hospitable.    From the owners Leslie and Mark to the work campers they chose for the season to the quality of people we met that chose to stay at the park we found gracious, friendly and a pleasure to be around.  Dog park is top notch with plenty of room to run the dog and plenty of trails to walk.  Some Are wheelchair accessible but not all.  The surrounding area offers many many day trips and makes this place ideal for more than over night.   Should be a destination park in my opinion.    Stay at this park you will not be disappointed!

Happened upon this beautiful campground by luck in the middle of a long road trip. Beautiful, beautiful surroundings. Great RV sites. Cabins were set off in a separate area and spaced out well for privacy. Tent sites were also well spaced in wooded pockets. Pristine, cleanest campground bathroom I've ever seen. Wonderful play areas for kids. Friendly owners. Can't recommend this place highly enough.

We showed up around 10pm on a Friday night in mid October(last night as I write this).  I think we startled the keeper(/owner?).  It was cold and they had closed the tent camping for the season.  They were nice enough to host us though.  Very sweet couple.  On top of being so hospitable to us this place is beautiful.  Possibly one of the nicest RV parks I've ever seen (even though we're tent campers).  The facility is clean, well manicured and landscaped very well.  I imagine this place is a blast for kids in the summer with a pool and playground and large field for disc golf.  I highly recommend this place.  Thank you !!

The RV park is a gem. Sites are level and huge, pads are gravel. Park is extremely well maintained. There is a pool open in summer, a children's play park, a huge field with a place to drive golf balls, play volleyball, or even disc golf. Toss then all for your four legged friend (but be sure to clean up after them). Miles of trees and some have faces! Find and photo them with your phone, take it to the office and show the staff and receive a special treat. Visit the old mining village and snap a family portrait. Pick up the story the Legend of the Nugget and read it around your campfire. You can't go wrong staying here on a scale of 1-10 we give this park a 12! Be sure to stop in and stay a while. Our favorite Montana RV park. Remember as you read the reviews this park changed hands fall of 2016 so reviews a year old or more were the old owners! Things have changed!

I'm going with four stars here. I'll explain.

The park is very well managed, with lots of trees, a pool, nice sized level spaces, and some amazingly pleasant hikes around the perimeter of the park. Lots of wildlife - birds, squirrels, and deer as well. The couple that own and run the park are very nice and helpful. For those aspects I say 5 stars.

My biggest complaint (and I almost always have at least one) is the noise factor. I didn't expect that. The 75mph interstate is less than 1/4 mile away, and a freight rail line is less than 1/2 mile away. Several trains a day come down that track, and signal at an un-gated crossing nearby.

Ask for a spot along the back if you're staying there long term.
