New York halal eats has a wide selection in the menu It’s fast food yet much cleaner and not greasy at all as I compare it to other places I love the salad bar. You can select from a variety of options I tried the mixed platter and was great Next time will try the cheese Phill; looks really good The places is so clean from inside and there decent number of seating area Easy to park outside I recommend this place and definitely will come back again
The NYC Halal Eats is great! I have had the rice platter a few times here and I love it! Honestly when I would work in the city I would grab halal lamb over rice from the food truck guys in Manhattan and these guys are absolutely better. Obviously much fresher ingredients and more tasteful in my opinion. The white and red sauce is great, for those that like heat the red sauce has some kick you don't need a lot. The customer service here is also top notch, I have always been greeted and treated very nicely. Worth it to check it out, way better than fast food and great prices.
Was really glad to see a halal spot open in the north Bergen/Union city area. Hassan is the cashier and he will always make sure you straight. I get the same thing every time and the portions are worth the price everytimeRecommended dishesLamb over Rice & Salad
Initial walk in is clean fresh and sleek. Greeted immediately by mike the owner in a timely fashion spoke a few and with a few pictures knew exactly what we were looking for. The food was done in 15 min which is a fast turnaround but the food was amazing had the beef quesadillas on pita and Philly cheesesteaks with chicken tenders. Great service great food good price highly recommended
Didn't realize they were already open. Didn't know much about the place or how they'd be different from the other local spots that serve middle eastern. This is like a one stop shop of all the best things on steroids. The special sandwiches make me think back to Rutgers grease trucks on college Ave. I got the Paterson hero. It's lamb and white sauce on a hero. Man, let me tell you... I didn't expect much and got a ton of delicious flavor and a good size portion. First of all, the hero is huge. It's on a sesame seed hero roll that's toasted! Who does that these days?? The lamb is nice and flavored with spices. White sauce, lettuce and tomatoes on the bottom. Ask for some hummus cuz it's good too! The fries are not regular. Looks like they got paprika on them. I finished them all and half the sandwich. It was so much! The falafel is very nice and the 3 pieces are served over lettuce with tahini sauce, not thrown in a greasy bag. This place is not huge but they've got great food and nice atmosphere. The owner is very nice and let me know this is only their second store. The first one is in Michigan. The only knock is that they took awhile, but they're new so I'm sure they will get everything in order soon. So I recommend them if you're looking for any halal in the area.
We ordered here thinking it will be similar to the halal chicken sandwich places around NYC. We ordered burger, chicken sandwich and wings. All came with fries. Fries were bleh -soggy and not tasty. Wings were good but you need to pay $3 for dipping sauce. Chicken sandwich was not tasty-not worth it. Inferior to legit halal chicken places. Burger was so-so. We did not try the rice platters- maybe those are acceptable. Not sure. Not gonna risk it.
I just want to say: One of the best food ever! I highly recommend it. You will be satisfied. And great Customer Service. The amount of food is worth the price .
Food not worth the price. I got a gyro chicken pita and a chicken salad. The salad was a small bowl for $12 and the gyro was $11. For this price I expected the food to be good but it was Mid at best. They definitely need to drop their prices before I consider buying again.
I ordered the chicken over rice and salad. OMGGG the food is amazing and I wish I was exaggerating. Nothing prepared me for the flavor, sauces, and goodnesss I tasted. Please give this place I try. The space is clean and you can see exactly what they’re serving you and where it’s coming from.
Finally a spot in hudson county we can rely on for great quality food at fair prices! I follow these guys on instagram and when I heard they were opening up a new location in our area I was ecstatic. And they did not disappoint, so far the mix platter is the best around. Can’t wait to try everything else! Ask for a side of the special green chutney sauce!
