We went to check out NYPD Apopka for the first time last night. Overall, tasty food and good service. We ordered the garlic knots and meatballs to start. The meatballs were delicious as evidenced by the empty bowl! I would not recommend or order the garlic knots again. They are more like big rolls with a little butter, garlic, and seasoning on top. It was just way too much bread! I had the Greek salad, which was good, and cheese pizza. The pizza had lots of bubbles in the dough, causing a loss of toppings over the surface. It was okay otherwise. My husband ordered the roll with ham, pepperoni, sausage, and bacon. It didn't come out until I was done eating, but it was really good.
We first came here as a backup because the restaurant we originally chose had to unexpectedly close for the night. BEST COINCIDENCE EVER. That was a week ago and we have been here 3 times since . Wednesday nights are kids night and can be a little hectic as a heads up but little ones will love their choices Our waitress was jade and let me tell you she knows the food and has excellent recommendations based on your preferences. The calzone is spectacular, garlic knots are out of this world and the margarita pizza is delicious. Let's face it this place is a breath of fresh air here in Apopka with a friendly staff, delicious food and easy access. We will be diners for as long as possible.
I had a hard time choosing appetizers since they all looked so good, but ended up getting boneless wings and garlic knots. Both were delicious! Followed it up with a pizza and it was awesome. 10/10 would recommend
First time trying out NYPD Pizza in Apopka. We ordered a large cheese pizza, garlic knots and house salad. Everything tasted great. The cheese used on the the pizza was top notch. The pizza leftovers were still great a day later. The restaurant is super clean and I can tell it is very well run. Great attention to detail in the restaurant decor and the dining room looks nice.The staff is well trained, very friendly and professional. The extra touch is that they open each box in front of me to verify the order and show how delicious looking each item is. Ordered carry out this time but will definitely be back for the dine in experience. Good job!
ABSOLUTELY AMAZING !! Our server Natasha was absolutely amazing and friendly. The hostess was as wellI didn’t get her name. I don’t even like chicken but the mild garlic wings are to DIE FOR !! My boyfriend and I would definitely be driving back an hour to eat there again . Thank you
You get the same quality pizza at Pizza Hut. I just don’t understand why they put so much flour on the bottom of the pizza? I have to have a one slice as you see my plate was full of grease and flour. First time trying them I don’t think I’ll be back. The good part about the whole experience was I ordered some chicken wings or two different sauces but only got one. But the wings were delicious.
Purchased one slice of cheese pizza added 3 toppings very very good truly New York style. Disappointed that each individual topping is $0.75 each. I initially wanted two slices of Veggie pizzas. But had to get one for $5. Pizza place up the road I can get two slices for six bucks loaded with veggies.
Food was good!! We were full just from the Garlic knots. I have the cheesesteak. Which was amazing. My son had a personal pizza. We went during lunch time so the price was great as well. Parking: Parking is easy
Been here twice and both times asked if they honor the military with a discount? Reply was. NO. Only for first responders or police. The owner does not give discounts for military. I am glad my sisters and brothers who serve and served this country to allow people to say No to a discount for our service. do not have the same logic as to chose one group vice others for their freedoms! No reply needed from the Owner. I hope my 14 million views on Google can help NYPD pizza change this policy.
Wildly disappointed in the service and food received from this location. Medium cheese pizza with no red sauce on it and heavily seasoned - Alfredo pasta that is “made to order” and it’s basically pasta and milk supposed to come with a salad .. it didn’t and then was charged 14$ for said salad that was supposed to come with it after coming back inside asking for it .. Philly sub “made like they do in Philly” is absolute garbage .. the only thing NY and or Philly style about this place is the service. If I could leave negative stars, I would. Stay away from this place. Charged 60$ for food that is going in the trash.
