Beautiful building and surrounding property. Used my AAA card for a discount. Mint Juleps, lemonade served outside the home, as well as at the cafe and restaurant. Yummy seafood au gratin. Grilled shrimp on salad was a tad salty. Corn bread is good and buttermilk pie is worth the calories!

A great place to visit. Went for the tour came to know the story. Beautiful 300 yrs oak Trees. It’s very relaxing, calm place. We spent around 2 hours .

Enjoyed our visit. We'll informed guide telling the history of the house and the family. I wish she had talked a bit more about the architecture and the agricultural aspects. Definitely can recommend this tour.

Tour guide in southern belle gown was very informative.  Lovely house and tour. Great that they include the story of the slaves that built the house. Slave shacks have historical information displays. Important historical experience. Nice restaurant on site too.

The house is nice, the setting classic, the slave exhibit is quite moving. There is a quaint BNB here and a pretty decent restaurant. The staff handles the constant crowds with friendly, caring efficiency.
