One of the oldest (if not the oldest) cemeteries located in Bay County - this is a large, peaceful place. The Majority of the graves (or, at least the older ones) are in the more wooded sections.
The ground can get a little 'spongy' after it rains, so you may want to wear boots if you'll be doing any extensive walking.
There are some very large, nice markers - mostly located near the "Soldier's Rest" veterans section. Near the entrance along AuSable State Road is a marker and (I believe) burial ground for some of the Native Americans from the area.
I love the exterior of the Chapel (where the main office is located). The stone walls looks very pleasant in this setting.
The staff seems very friendly and willing to help. The one 'complaint' I'd make about the layout is how the sections are actually on different levels (the ridge), making it a slight challenge if on foot.
