Matthew is amazing! He is an all around great electrician who has helped my parents out with lots of wiring jobs and odds and ends around their house. He was my dad's go to guy and now he helps mom with all of her honey do list. He shows up on time, is fast and efficient and so sweet and patient with my mom and her questions.  Please use Matthew! He is well worth it and a great worker!

If you need an electrician, call Matthew first. Before he came out, he walked me through some troubleshooting steps, and when that didn’t work, he was able to fit me into his schedule within a few days. He tracked down my problem, made the necessary repairs, and even fixed some other pesky issues I had, all for a very reasonable price. Matthew was an absolute delight and I’m happy to recommend him.

We'd just moved into our home a few days before and suddenly we had no lights in several rooms.  I googled electricians in Decatur and Oakhurst Electric popped up.  Mathew answered quickly and instead of taking my money like a lot of crappy electricians would have, he walked me through some troubleshooting.  In a matter of minutes my lights were back on.  He could've easily made the service call and charged me for coming out.  Everyone has to make a living but he chose to spare my pockets that day.  I'll definitely be referring Oakhurst Electric and keeping their number for my future needs.

Do yourself a favor and don't use this Electric company. They are over priced with terrible service. They installed a dedicated line to a GFCI receptacle and the outlet burned. When I called him back, he never returned my call to even discuss the problem. He charged me $1000. to run a line on the exterior of the wall and then didn't even repair the holes that he made. I'd give him 0 stars but that was not a choice offered.

I have had two excellent experiences with Matthew, who came to me by recommendation of my neighborhood listserve. He responded to my call immediately, was easy to schedule and fixed the problems at very reasonable rates. Could not be happier and will use him again when the time comes without hesitation!
