Awkward, I received a phone call at 7pm for a LVN interview for the next day. I drove 1hr and 30 minutes to the place and got there 15 minutes before my appointment time. I waited 1 hr! And finally realized that I wasn't what they expected (My ethnicity is in my resume to eliminate both parties wasting time) I started to get up and leave when the office lady asked have I been helped, I told her that I was supposed to be here for an interview at 1 but I haven't seen anyone. The DON wouldn't see me, and a lady took notes on my credentials and asked if I had any questions. I couldn't help but ask if the company was diverse. When I got there the people in the office was staring and whispering and I felt totally uncomfortable as if I was trespassing...well of course, I didn't get the job but they are still hiring for LVNs to this day. Go figure. Maybe they should post in their add what "preference" instead of heartlessly allowing people to waste expensive gas for a blank trip. Very unprofessional
