I and my son have gone to OBEES since they opened. Their subs are awesome and their salads are the best! As a matter of fact, I just talked myself into going there now to get a salad for dinner 😀

Absolutely disgusting. They don't wear gloves when handling meats or making the sandwiches. Refuse to put them on if you ask. Don't wash hands between sub's. Rude manager.

Rushed over to the Obee's in Englewood today to get there in time, knowing they closed at 5:00. Pulled into the parking lot at 4:55, walked into the store at 4:57. The store's door was still open and there was one female employee inside, dark hair, I'd say mid-50's. She was just standing there socializing with a friend. She paused her conversation, looks up at me and shakes her head saying "we close at 5:00". I reply "ok, it's not 5:00 though" and hold up my phone to show her that it is 4:58. She replies "I never close early" and points to the clock on the store wall which says 5:03 (5 minutes fast). I again show her the proper time on my phone and tell her it's not 5:00 yet. At that point she looks at me and says "Good bye" in a rude, condescending manner. So she went from just being a lazy employee, using business hours to hang out with her friend to being a rude, lazy employee with no respect for customers. She could have easily stopped talking to her friend and made my sandwich, which is what she is being paid to do. I would not recommend this Obee's and will now drive to the one in Venice instead, where the employees are actually nice to customers.
