The only good thing about this place is that the ladies were friendly, which is why they’re getting two stars instead of one. To start off, my friend had the hardest time getting in touch with them to make an appointment. She called once at noon, again at two, and no one picked up. When she finally got a hold of them, they said they would call her confirming the appointment and no call. They were already off to an unprofessional start. When we arrived, unsure if we even had an appointment, we waited by the front desk for five minutes before anyone acknowledged us. I understand that it’s a smaller establishment, but they can at least say something like, “I’ll be with you in a minute.” I gave five style numbers of all the morilee dresses I wanted to try on and the woman who helped us only pulled two of them and left my friend and I to search for dresses on our own; she didn’t bother asking my friend if she had styles in mind, which she did. The two that she pulled for me weren’t even the styles that I gave her. We were also disappointed that they did not have all the styles like they said they did over the phone. Nevertheless, we pulled some off the rack and tried some on since we drove 40 minutes. While we were trying on dresses, one of the women called out to see if we needed anything and another woman asked if I needed clips, since all the dresses were only one size, but that was the extent of the help we got. All in all, we drove a total of 80 minutes for a disappointing 20 minute appointment. I understand that some might think helping brides is more of a priority than helping bridesmaids, but the least they could have done is told the truth about having all the styles of dresses we were looking at.

Just left Occassions for a bridal appointment with my mother and grandmother and it was a beautiful experience. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. They have really nice dresses as well.

Today I said yes to my dress. After going to a few bridal shops that people talked about and having either a bad or ok experience, I found Occasions House of Bridal. It's a intimate bridal shop thats not flooded with 20 brides lol. Its by appointment only. From the moment I walked in Ms. Linda greeted me with professionalism and made me felt welcome. She even had the Morilee dress i wanted, so that was a great start. After trying on the dress, i decided to give it some thought then come back. Ms. Linda didn't presser me into buying it at all. She told me when Im ready call and come back. So today i did a week later and brought my dress....... If your a heavier girl and tied of trying on to small dresses....This is your place ladies. Thank you Ms.Linda for making my experience wonderful and i can't wait until my dress come. My bridal party will meet with you soon. :)
