Very serene Park. First time for us to come here. Park is mostly frequented by birds land and water lovers. There was plenty of parking. Toilette were locked and seems like they were overflowing because you could smell them from outside. A lot of water debris on the trail, but you can easily negotiate your way around it. If you are looking for quietness and a large open water space, then you will enjoy it.
Very spacious area for bird watching, wildlife viewing, or just going for a bike ride or a walk. I was pleasantly surprised with how nice this place was. It was free to enter, there was plenty of parking, bathrooms, a picnic shelter, maps, and wide trails. There is also a visitor center in the works, which me and my grandma saw from a distance, so I'll be excited to visit again when it's finished.
My favorite Woodbridge nature gem! Thanks to many years of conservation efforts there are so many animals here to see, from rabbits to turtles, osprey, eagles mid spring, and turkeys! Exceptional refuge with plenty of trails and scenic views.
Lovely place to see wildlife and walk. If you take deep hole point rd it goes along the bay and has nice views.
Didn't see too much wildlife; mostly some bold rabbits and buzzing, flying, annoying insects! The scenery at the bay is really nice though.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entryFree
Some trails are closed due to the Eagles nesting signage could be better in some places but there are still plenty of places you might spot Eagles and other wildlife. Beautiful area, definitely worth a visit.
New Visitor Center, signage indicates Friday and Saturday hours, since 6.24.22. I found a new observation deck at the Turtle Pond. I saw improvement to the existing deck, and a improved restroom. As far as the nature, I saw small rabbits at every location, like I've never seen before. Lots of birds: eagles, redbirds, little sparrows, and robins. I took two steps off a trail to observe birds in some under brush and nearly stepped on a long black snake. Overall good day, on my return visit.
Nice place for birding. Good little network of trails with a variety of micro habitats.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entryFree
The trail along the coast has some nice views.
Really great place for all weather hiking and interacting with nature! Trails are wide and graveled the size of a one lane road. No need to worry about muddy conditions. Lots of trail options and bathrooms are handy. Lots of wildlife to observe.
