My son and I had to try this place while visiting. My son had the duck and he loved it. The skin was crispy and meat tender and juicy. The gumbo was so good and the gator bites were tender and season well. I loved this place. I enjoyed the taste of New Orleans dish and yes the crab cakes are to rave about. Great customer service and fast n hot food.
Loved their food and drinks. We stood in line for about 30mins to get into this place on a Saturday evening and it was definitely worth it. The sauce on the crab cake was our favorite. The oysters were outstanding and show why NOLA is known for it. The Po boy was a bit dry but the chicken was super flavorful and juicy. We really enjoyed the drinks as well.
Our experience was not great at all. The food was stale, not fresh and cold. The jambalaya was a mix of mashed rice and beans. The red beans and rice had a small piece of chicken sausage. I didn’t expect too much from the salad but expected to have fresh lettuce. The first time I ate here was in 2018 and the experience was night and day. I was excited to come back but it was a huge disappointment. I recommend going elsewhere.
This was our first time. The staff and Manger was friendly. The food was good. The drinks were amazing. We came back every day during out trip for drinks. One of the best spots off of Bourbon Street. The gumbo needs work.
Flavor: A Service: B Tea: A Solo dining: D The long line on the sidewalk can be deceiving. I still don't know how it moved so quickly. We started with gator bites and crab cakes. Both were great. I had the Cajun pasta and it was hearty with strong flavor. Everything is fresh. I was afraid this was a tourist trap but it is genuinely delicious.
Let's start with you're eating on Bourbon Street so you have like this dirty feel with the smell of the streets. The good part about is the service was quick and the servers were very inviting. We got our food fairly quickly and the food tasted good. I ordered the blackened chicken breast, garlic mashed potatoes, and this nice Mexican corn. The food was hot and delicious. My husband ordered shrimp Creole, which was also good, but they only offer a scoop of rice. With more rice, it would have been a nice dish. I would go back for the food if it were in a different location!
Typically a very busy French Quarter restaurant with great Cajun cuisine at fair pricesrelative to the area. The first time we tried it the line was well into the street so we waited till the next afternoon and found the line much shorter, we were seated immediately. The service was great although a little slow at first. Food came out quickly and was fabulous, the BBQ shrimp was rich and very flavorful and I recommend it. Atmosphere is good and there are lots of TVs for any sporting events happening. I would recommend it if you would like to eat in the French Quarter.
When I first saw this place, I really thought that it is overrated but I was completely wrong. This place definitely deserves a 5-star review. It looks small from the outside but it is spacious. Service is very fast, staffs are friendly and helpful. Their food is absolutely tasty! We ordered Blackened Catfish plate and Oceana Chargrilled Oysters. There are lots of options that you can choose from, and all of them look amazing. I highly recommended this place for seafood. They also open very late so you can stop by for some late night food.
Very good food, and the service was pretty good too. I highly recommend the Blackened Gator. The crab cakes and their "taste of New Orleans" were also really good menu items. Very flavorful red beans and rice. Would recommend if you're visiting the N.O. and searching for a place to try delicious local cuisine.
Service was impeccable, atmosphere delightful, and food was to die for. Not a big oyster fan but it was for a special occasion, so I did it. We ate oysters at 3 different places, and this by far, was the most delicious. Went for an oyster day and ended up coming back twice. The second time we were in a rush and they were able to deliver the food in an exceptionally small time frame. We even ordered food to go and honestly, it was the best packaging I have seen in a long time. I can't say enough good about this place but if you have time, go.
