Hurricane Harvey was headed to shore today and we were in Port Aransas. Everyone around was closed and we strolled into Oceans of Seafood. The people there were awesome. They could have turned us away so they could close and board up but instead the cook went into the kitchen and fired everything up. The food was awesome and we are bringing 5 pounds of fresh shrimp home with us. AWESOME PEOPLE! Stay safe guys and we will be back to visit! Ramonda

This place was amazing!! The food was fresh and delicious! I cannot express how good this was... hush puppies ( Best ever!)... Fried Fish ( Amazing!) Fried Shrimp ( Absolutely delicious!)... the restaurant itself is pretty quaint and simple, has a fish market area when you come in, mom and pop, laid back atmosphere, very casual... the food was pretty damn Awesome!!

I never feel the need to give bad reviews, but OH MY GOD, this was easily one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. Upon arriving, my boyfriend and I were greeted by a waitress and were told to wait to be seated. We waited for a good ten minutes (mind you, the place wasn't busy at all- there were just two other couples there) and within those ten minutes, another staff member asked us if we were dining in or there for the market. We said dining in and thought he would be leading us to a table, but nope, he proceeded to stare at us uncomfortably until we were greeted by our actual waitress. Our waitress wasn't terrible, but was incredibly awkward, like she didn't really want to do her job. The food was overpriced, definitely not fresh, and bland. While we were eating, the staff members were loudly cursing at each other, and one staff member was even talking about his genitals, saying to an older staff member, "I'm 35! I'm young! At least my d**k works and I don't have to take pills!". The entire time, my boyfriend and I were looking at each other in disbelief. It was incredibly uncomfortable and felt like we were in the Twilight Zone. While walking out, we noticed a man in one of the rooms in the restaurant (another grossly unprofessional staff member) sitting in a recliner with his bare feet propped up. DO NOT GO HERE. Save your money and get the same kind of food/service at a gas station McDonald's.

Best unsweet tea, had the ultimate seafood platter and loved it. Wife said it is "exceptionally quaint". We will come back.
