typical nyc hub for normalized corruption. Judges and city attorneys act like besties when you go in to answer hearings by yourself. Some advice, hire an attorney of your own, these people are animals and will try to bully and intimidate you in the hearings. Some of the judges are compassionate and friendly, but there are others who are also incredibly nasty, uninterested in your defense, or outright racially motivated. Remember, the goal of these hearings is to find you guilty to GENERATE INCOME FOR THE CITY. Learn the Law or hire an attorney before answering a summons. Peace and Good Luck

After signing in, I was told that I could wait up to 3 hours before I would be called in for a hearing, in a room that prohibits cell phone use, food and drink. When I was finally seen by an attorney she was moving as slow as molasses.
