The Ogallala Fire Department was founded in 1913 and covers 458 square miles of varied terrain. Our 34 members respond to structural fires, wildland fires, vehicle accidents, water rescue, and emergency medical calls.
We are dedicated to provide swift, effective, and efficient service to our communities life and property needs. We will endeavor to remain diligent in our pursuit of extinguishing fire and its effects, and to provide exemplary emergency medical care. Our vision is to improve through increased knowledge and training into the future, but never forgetting the wisdom of the past.
