It's a nice place. I feel that the management could do more to draw people in, however. The facility itself is very clean, and the few exhibits it has are engaging. I just feel... I don't know... like it's still very empty somehow. The good news is that the Union Station hosts events pretty frequently so it puts all that space to good use.

Excellent! It's the Utah State Railroad museum. Several rare prototype locos on display. The station is a classic example of early 1900's era train stations. They host one of the best model railroad shows (festival) in the country, on the first weekend in March each year. Located on the Union Pacific Overland line.

The very old building in itself is gorgeous. One could spend the entire day looking thru each of the different museums. The train museum is decent sized. There is also a huge browning gun museum here. Museum with a dozen vintage automobiles too. And a old west museum. Nice little gift shop.

I went for the Saturday winter market, and there was a lot of great stuff. As always, the Union Station was very clean and nostalgic. This building is a beautiful reminder of Ogden's railroad days, and the Browning Firearms Museum is a treat for firearms enthusiasts and history nuts.

A great place to stop and let the little kids get their wiggles out. My son loves trains and he loved running around and looking at the trains. We wish we were able to walk on some of the trains but it seems they are only there to be seen not walked on. Overall a free fun place to stop if you have little ones. We didn't go inside the building so I cannot comment on what was insidet.
