Magnificent. Me and my girlfriend got the Mozzarella cheddar dog, half cheddar half dog and sweet potato dog. We enjoyed all 3 of them. Thank you Oh-K dog for your amazing tasty K dogs. You never fail to disappoint.Food: 5/5
My friends and I stopped at Oh K-Dog for a quick late-night bite, which cured our munchies. We ordered the Oh! K Classic Hot Dog and the Bacon & Cheese Toast. The Toast was very good, and so was the hot dog, but the Potato Hot Dogs did look tastier. They had a variety of seasonings and sauces to spice up your food, which was great, but it did take a while to prepare the food, and we waited for about 15 minutes. It was still very tasty and cured our late-night munchies!
Oh K-Dog has been trending recently and there is always a long line with about 30-minute wait. We were lucky to wait for only 20 minutes on a Sunday noon and the line got worse after we ordered. We had their #4 Cheddar Hot Dog and #9 Potato Hot Dog for $12 with tax & tips. It was so fresh, cheesy and delicious, totally different from the frozen ones we got from H-Mart. One of the best things we love is the various sauces available at the self-served area. Our favorite sauce was the Gochu hot sauce, which was appetizing and matched with the hot dogs so much. We would like to visit again, but only if the line is not too bad.
We happened across this place after a trip to the city. I've always wanted to try Korean dogs and was delighted to find this little spot. Ordered the #7 half mozzarella & half hot dog w/ potato exterior $7.61. And I think the #10 full mozzarella only w/ potato exterior. Oh and while they were piping hot, they rolled it in regular white sugar. There's a choice to coat with both white sugar and/or cinnamon sugar, but the white sugar was far better with an added sweetness, but subtle flavor. Go with the white sugar coating only. And the dipping sauces, so many to choose from. They were all delicious. I tried the sweet chili, honey mustard and garlic sauce with my Korean Dog. Just Amazing punch of flavors! At first bite, the crunchy potatoes were delicious! Immediately followed by the famous cheese pull. Either I was really starving or it was really that good. Honestly, I couldn't imagine how yummy it was. The half mozz & half dog was nice, however, the hotdog was a little gross because of the soft texture. It didn't seem like a superior hot dog. The focus was more on the exterior. So, with a better hotdog, this would be 10/10. The full mozz was nice, but then it was missing that savory combination. I think bacon would have been lovely with it. And full disclaimer! This is LES lower east side, so the area is grimey. There is no where to sit, just a graffitied standing area with a pet pigeon..lol. All and all, the cashier was sooo friendly and kind. He honestly made it for a better experience. He took his time to explain the menu and helped us choose some faves. Giving this spot a 4.2. Will be back.
+ The hotdog is ridiculously good! Every bite is like repeating 3 senses, you first feel the ultra crunchiness of the rice shell, then you feel the chewy texture of the shell in a positive way and last you taste the well seasoned rice shell and the juicy beef hotdog! Prolly the best hotdog I’ve ever had! ~ The service is a bit slow as they need to make every order fresh to ensure the crunchiness I guess. It took me about 10 mins from placing the order to receiving my food. - This is just a storefront with no tables or chairs to eat. Next to the store, half dozen trash bags were thrown on the side wall. I guess the expectation is you eat your hotdog as you walk away, which is not unreasonable for hotdog. Will I come back? Yes! Vegetarian options: Egg toast
Hot Tip: the egg sandwiches are the best thing on the menu. I come here often for the egg sandwiches. The hot dogs are great, exactly what you would expect and very consistent. Great drunk food. But their sandwiches are the perfect guilty pleasure hangover sandwich.
I was really excited to try these Korean hotdogs and since the reviews are quite high I was confident they would be would be good. I was wrong. On the outside things look promising but on the inside it’s a cold mess. Literally, the hot dog was cold and was surrounded by raw sticky batter. Other customers seemed to have the same problem because, like me, they all threw away the remaining batter. I hope they improve their quality because unless they do, I can’t recommend coming.
The cutest little hole in the shack for corn dogs. They have some delicious options. Highly recommend the ones with melted cheese inside them. The best part is that you can customize the sauces and toppings. They have some curated options, but you can go as wild as you want.
This was my first time trying out a K-dog and i was not disappointed! The selections and options to combine ingredients together are interesting. Really good and didn’t feel too heavy afterwards. If you’re around the area and haven’t tried, go for it! You won’t regret itFood: 5/5
Super crispy, got a sauce for every type of person. Sweet, sour, spicy or savory. Wish there was seating at this one but it's more of a walk up, grab your food and keep walking type of situation. Overall, some quality Korean corn dogsFood: 5/5
