Story

It’s one thing to sell insurance. It’s another thing to understand the impact it has on the people it’s designed to protect.

That’s why Dan Hardaway started Ohio Valley Crop Insurance in 2003, combining his farming experience with leadership skills and insurance expertise to deliver the service customers expect – and deserve.

Since then, Ohio Valley Crop Insurance has continued to expand by hiring and collaborating with additional agents throughout Kentucky, Indiana, and Tennessee. Allan Murray joined the team in 2007 as a crop insurance agent and co-manager of the Owensboro area, bringing his knowledge of crop insurance and production agriculture to the table. Allan was named as a co-owner in 2012.

The decision was made in 2013 to expand our product offering from crop insurance to now including property and casualty insurance along with life and health insurance. And in 2014 the Ohio Valley Crop Insurance name was officially changed to Ohio Valley Insurance, with our main office located in Owensboro, Kentucky.
