My mother went to this center after having hip replacement surgery. Although the facility is beautiful inside and out don't be deceived! The level of nursing care was horrible from Day 1. After many complaints to the Charge Nurse without any change, I took matters into my own hands and stayed with my mother during the day to ensure she received her medications, water, meals, etc. We had to ask for everything, including the room to be cleaned and for her bedding to be changed. The one shining light of this facility was the therapy she received. The therapists are outsourced by another company and they were very encouraging and pleasant to work with.The food at this facility was not even edible (frozen or out of can) and I ended up bringing a majority of her meals to her throughout her two week stay. My mother stayed two weeks and she was encouraged by the Patient Care Team to stay another two. Needless to say, she didn't stay. To top it all off, the Social Worker told us that insurance was covering a majority of the large medical equipment that she required at home (e.g. wheelchair, hospital bed, etc.) When the equipment was delivered, we discovered that insurance wasn't covering this equipment. Overall, this was one of the worst experiences I've ever had in a medical facility and I would strongly encourage family members not to put their loved ones in this facility.

I have now had 2 family members that have been at this facility. While it appears very nice from the outside the staff and treatment there is horrible. Wrong medication was given with the first, medication was missed with the second. Meals were left outside in the hallway to get cold before being delivered late while staff socialized outside. Nurses took hours during the night to respond to the call button. Please do not send anyone you care about to this place.

This facility is the Taj Mahal of rehab facilities. It's a beautiful place with wonderful staff. This facility should be the training grounds for all other facilities. I'd recommend OHRC to anyone needing their services.
