As previous posts have stated, one star is too much. Without warning, the water in my home went out on Thursday afternoon. My wife called OKC Water around 4:45p, and after providing our address, was told there was a main water line down and they expected it to be back up and running in two hours. At 8:45p, the water was still not working. We called again, and after providing our address, was told that the service was not in our name, and was shut off (we moved in three weeks prior, and I had submitted a form online at that time to set up our account). The lady then said that there was nothing she could do about it, and that we'd have to call back in the morning during normal working hours. I called at 8a that Friday, and was told our water couldn't get turned back on until Monday at the earliest since they don't do same day service. So my family of four, including two young children, went without water for three and a half days due to pathetic communication (and what appears to be a blatant lie about a water line being down) during our initial phone call. Sounds like laziness and a waste of taxpayer dollars to me.

Reps have lied to me. Water has been turned off over a leak, that we had when we first moved into our home. Was told after i paid $410.00 that it would leave me with a zero balance after they applied there credit. I transfered the services from a old address.. when i transfered i was not informed or told id have to pay a deposit.. now out of no where theres a deposit.. spoke with a supervisor... they wont remove the deposit they want to charge me for when i was never informed, id even have one... My family and i use 5,000 galons on average but im being billed for over $1,200.00 for over 200,000 gallons... so they give me the run around everytime i call in.. not to mention tell you one thing then another.. i usually pay $100 a month sometimes $150... Very irritating and aggravating speaking with people who want to tell you one thing then another. Lairs. Poor customer service. Oh i cant give u $20 off the deposit. Shouldnt have even been charged with it from the begging, oh well i can give u 40 off.. whatever doesnt fix or change the fact ur lieing to your customers

Had the guy come out to turn on my water. Then the water wasn't turned on and was told to do it myself, but the meter was locked with a pad lock. I had to wait all day with no water.

Seriously awful customer service, call to set up service and people who answer phone act like they hate their lives. Hire some friendly people! Or at least some that know how to fake it!!

The entire staff needs to be fired.. this place is corrupt with Lazy old women who gossip all day and do very little work. this has been the culture for decades, they need new leadership and new guidelines, these people are the worse ever customer service reps , Unprofessional, they have no idea what it means to be Articulate & the reason the staff is this way is due to lack of Leadership, its time for a reorganization of the whole company.. these people are pathetic!
