Perfect day to go to the Zoo in March. We are an Army family and had to leave our roots in Oklahoma for ten years. Our family is genuinely impressed by the advancements and expansion made to the many venues. For example, the wooden fence was removed and a chained fence added to the flamingo enclosure. This has opened up the space and feels much better. We also enjoyed the stingray petting area. How awesome it was to touch a stingray. We bought season passes and plan to visit often. We only stayed a few hours, and did not get to see the elephants or other enclosures in the back of the Zoo. Sad to see the aquarium is closing. Glad to see the public's money going to help and enrich the animals to educate us all.

Went for the first time and LOVED it. The 2nd time we went I came prepared by bringing my daughter a swimsuit because she loved the kids waterfall/stream area. It was in the heat of summer and it's a Brilliant way for the kids to cool down! All the exhibits were great and kept clean.

Very nice, interesting, very friendly... Our 7 year old grandson had a day off school so we decided to visit the Oklahoma City Zoo. Our daughter and a six year old grandson met us there. One of the first places we visited was the children's area. The petting area with the goats is wonderful. I had always thought goats were pretty rambunctious and often a little mean but these were great. Submitting to the petting and brushing of bunches of little kids (no pun intended) quietly and calmly. We wanted to leave at noon and eat someplace outside the zoo and when we ask the man at the gate how we would get back in he said "Don't worry, I'll remember you." And he did. A great day. Lots of things to see and two nice playgrounds for little boys to run and blow off steam. The Lorikeet house is a must visit although young children will need help feeding the birds.

My family had so much fun today. By far the best zoo we have been too. Now in all fairness we have only been to 2 others, the FT. Worth Zoo and the Houston Zoo. But still this was such a great visit!

Good time at the zoo! Not too crowded, lots of animals were visible. The aquatic side is pretty weak, but the land animal exhibits are pretty good. We enjoyed ourselves immensely.
